“Currahee” — a Cherokee word meaning “stand alone” — was the battle cry of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment during World War II, an elite unit that trained to drop behind enemy lines and face overwhelming odds with grit and courage. Filing for VA benefits can feel like that kind of battle — isolated, overwhelming, and uphill.  That’s why we created Currahee Legal: to stand beside those still in the fight. This isn’t just legal representation. It’s an alliance.
